According to Yahoo Sports, Derek Jeter, the Yankee shortstop, has stolen a Yankee Stadium sign that has a famous Joe DeMaggio quote, “I want to thank the Good Lord for making me a Yankee”. The sign used  to hang over the tunnel of the now torn down Yankee Stadium.

Mr. Jeter’s passion for stealing signs is unparalleled.  Not only does he allegedly have an incredible “Deer Crossing” sign collection in his garage, he also is one of baseball’s premiere signal stealer while on 2nd base.
