I was approached by a start up banking website about doing a weekly bank cartoon for their website. The website is called InsightIntoBanking.com (IIB)and it just went live today! Every Tuesday a new black and white banking cartoon will be posted along with article having to do with the bank industry.
The nice thing for IIB is by using me as their cartoonist, they will have a consistent theme with a consistent look by the same artist. This will encourage readers to keep coming back to read the cartoon and people who are interested in banks and banking will stick around to read what the latest news is regarding the financial world.
IIB chose to go with black and white cartoons verses color because they wanted to have a “New Yorker” feel to the cartoon. Now I have never been in the New Yorker, but this was the feel they wanted.
So check it out. A new bank cartoon will post every Tuesday!
