Shopping the Day of Halloween

Friday, October 31st, 2008

I got a call last night from my buddy Brian Buhl who was standing a line to get into the Halloween store to buy a costume.  Brian didn’t know that I was doing this cartoon at the time of his call but it was perfect.  Brian was standing in line to get IN, he hadn’t even gotten to see what’s in the store yet let alone figure out what he was going to be.  I bet this happens all over the country where people don’t know what they want to dress up as for Halloween and then at the last minute try to throw something together.  I think that is why so many people still dress up as bums or hobo’s because they end up digging through the bottom drawer looking for old cloths that they don’t wear anymore.

For my own entertainment I really hope Brian ends up wearing a tutu like in my cartoon for Halloween.  I’ll keep you posted.

My buddy’s Sam and Larry told me about this old time cartoon.  It’s priceless!

A week of Halloween Cartoons

Monday, October 27th, 2008

This week I’m doing a Halloween cartoon every day.  I’m opening the week off with a cartoon about what I think would happen if kids were allowed to trick or treat in Heaven.  Being that this holiday is known for its devils, blood, gore, and anything scary I find the irony of trick or treat taking place at the Pearly Gates of Heaven would be quite the scene.  I’d imagine that St. Peter would maybe do a double take and maybe call Pearly Gate security.

Anyway I hope you enjoy this weeks Halloween cartoons.
